A self-paced instruction program for healthcare professionals that uses eSimulation technology to allow students to assess and treat patients in virtual healthcare settings.

The AHA HeartCode BLS Blended Learning course is comprised of both an online and a classroom component.  Please note that you will need to register at the AHA site to begin your course.

Heartsaver CPR AED –Heartsaver CPR AED course teaches CPR, AED and choking knowledge. This program is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs an AHA course completion card. You will learn: adult CPR and AED use, adult choking, child CPR and AED use, child choking, infant CPR and infant choking.CPR instruction includes high-quality compressions, airway management, breathing, and how to use a mask. This video based, Instructor-led course teaches participants critical skills needed to respond to and manage an emergency in the first few minutes until emergency medical services (EMS) takes over. $30 includes textbook. Course length – 2.5 hours.

Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED – This course teaches all of the modules of Heartsaver CPR/AED with an additional comprehensive First Aid component. Training includes First Aid Basics, Medical Emergencies, Injury Emergencies and Environmental Emergencies. $65 includes textbook. Course length – 5 hours.

The course is designed to help 12-16 year olds become more effective babysitters and includes the basics of infant care, infection control, nutrition, safety and first aid. Friends and Family CPR is part of the class. Participants should wear long pants and bring a sweater or jacket for comfort in an air-conditioned room. 

Pre-registration is REQUIRED.

The class fee includes lunch.
