Notes:	The first day of class will be 4/3 This is a pre-class meeting to discuss the schedule and expectations for the class. The 4 classes in May will be to review skills and complete CPR certification. You will be expected to complete one week of clinical hours. I will split the class in half: The first half of the class will complete clinical hours June 1-4 and the second half will complete clinical hours June 8-11. Clinical hours are from 750am-5pm Monday-Thursday.

This course will introduce the student to both front and back office medical assisting through computer-based modules, classroom-instruction, and rotations in a clinic setting. 

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a course completion certificate.  The course does not include a national certification exam.

Students will be present in the healthcare setting with patients during this course and must pass a background screen and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as per the Campbell County Health policy.
