Notes:	This is a hybrid course. 4/21 is a pre-class meeting; we will discuss the schedule and other requirements. The pre-class meeting will be held on the first floor in the AHA classroom across from Professional Development. The four May sessions will be to review clinical material/skills and CPR training. All online work must be completed prior to the clinical rotation. The last 2 weeks, 6/2-6/5 and 6/9-6/12, will be the clinical rotation. This course will introduce the student to both front and back office medical assisting through computer-based modules, classroom-instruction, and rotations in a clinic setting. 

Upon successful completion of the course, the student will receive a course completion certificate.  The course does not include a national certification exam.

Students will be present in the healthcare setting with patients during this course and must pass a background screen and use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment as per the Campbell County Health policy.
